Book the Palais Galliera, sumptuous temple of fashion
The Palais Galliera, of Renaissance inspiration, was built at the end of the 19th century. Born of the will of an exceptional woman, the Duchess of Galliera, it is today the setting for the Paris Fashion Museum, whose rich collections bear witness to the creative genius of fashion from the 18th century to the present day.
In the heart of a lush garden, inspired by the Italian Renaissance, the Palais Galliera presents an aesthetic with multiple references very fashionable in the late nineteenth century, the "Beaux-Arts style, a mixture of periods, techniques and materials characteristic of eclectic architecture.
The Fashion Museum will reopen its doors in the fall of 2020 after a beautiful renovation. In a palace with restored facades, visitors will discover new galleries, set up in the vaulted cellars of the museum. These new rooms will present both exhibitions and the museum's collections through works selected from among 200,000 pieces - clothing, accessories, photographs and graphic arts.
A parade of emotions for an event that will cause a sensation
Ideally located in the very chic 16th arrondissement, not far from the Champs Elysées and its Golden Triangle, the architectural jewel of the Chaillot hill, the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris offers reception areas of great elegance.
In this prestigious setting, facing the Eiffel Tower, the exhibitions presented in the salons and galleries of the Palais can be privatized all year long. You can receive your guests for an exceptional event and take advantage of the courtyard and the peristyle as well as the open spaces on the garden.
The main hall and lounges with monumental bay windows overlooking the Palais de Tokyo and the Eiffel Tower can accommodate up to 80 guests for exceptional mornings, days or evenings.
The Palais Galliera reveals its reception areas and its history in our dedicated blog post.
