Book the Monnaie de Paris, the oldest French institution
A majestic neoclassical palace
For more than 11 centuries, the Monnaie de Paris, the oldest French institution, has been dedicated to minting money and producing fine crafts. Today, it produces the euros for France, the currency of more than forty countries around the world, as well as numerous art objects in its Parisian workshops.
Its emblematic site at 11 quai de Conti has opened its doors to the public since 2017. The first and last active factory in the heart of the capital, it reveals the secrets of metal, the techniques of its craftsmen and unpublished treasures... La Monnaie de Paris welcomes you in its majestic neoclassical 18th century Palace, for a unique experience around French Excellence, between art, know-how and industry.
