Excellent pieces and presentation. Lovely commemorative coins. The museum is kind of small for now but I hope the collection gets larger as the years go on. Definitely drop by the gift shop. I love the fact that it was less crowded and more calm, it enables a pleasant visitor experience.

I think this museum was very interesting and extensive, but not too large. Texts are written in English as well which is nice. The building is beautiful and the exhibition covers many themes related to Monnaie de Paris, and money in general. I liked it how the exhibition is divided into suitable-sized parts, which makes it easier to follow. The texts are of optimal length. And of course, they have the Paris Olympic medals on display! Also, at least around 2 pm on Sunday, there were no lines at all and one could just walk in.

This museum is a hidden gem, offering one of the most captivating experiences in Paris. It delves into the art of coin craftsmanship and the evolution of metalwork over time. The collection includes coins from ancient Greece, Rome, and modern eras. Beyond coins and ingots, you'll discover fascinating stories, such as the recovery of treasures from a sunken Dutch ship. Visitors can also explore the impressive coin-printing machines in action. Ideal for families, friends, or anyone seeking a unique activity, this museum offers a relaxed experience without the long queues typical of Parisian attractions. Conveniently located near the Louvre, it's a perfect addition to your visit.
