In 1905, the architect Guillaume Tronchet was entrusted by the City of Paris with the construction of a luxury restaurant at the Pré Catelan. He was inspired by the follies of the 18th century for this graceful long building, set in the heart of the Bois. The rotundas are arranged in a classical symmetry. Pilasters, columns and balusters adorn the white facades, groups of sculpted angels and basins adorn the flowered terraces on the upper floor. Associated with the most beautiful Parisian and international parties, Le Pré Catelan embodies French elegance and luxury.
