Book the Mogador Theatre, one of the most mythical stages of Parisian entertainment

One of the most emblematic addresses in Paris

Inaugurated in 1919 by the American president Woodrow Wilson, the Mogador Theatre is one of the most emblematic addresses of Parisian entertainment. Inspired by the famous London Palladium and English-style music halls, you will be dazzled by its suspended balconies and its magnificent dome, which is the twin of the Victoria Palace in London.

But the Mogador Theatre is above all the stage for some of the most mythical shows: from Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes to the Lion King, via the Rolling Stones and Barbara. This exceptional place has been classified as a historical monument in France under the impulse of Barbara, who was an unconditional fan of this place.

A theater to stage all your events

Bought in 2005 by the Stage Entertainment group, the Mogador Theatre has been completely renovated and expanded to offer a unique experience and maximum comfort to its visitors.

In addition to its 1,600-seat auditorium, the Mogador Theatre offers more than 1,000 m² of reception areas to accommodate all types of events. Each space has been optimized for a comfortable reception of spectators. A complete range of catering services is also available in all the bars and a large equipped checkroom is at your disposal.

Entrust us with your projects, we will make you live the Mogador experience!

The Mogador Theatre is a truly magnificent venue, boasting spacious and luminous foyers, and a stunning auditorium. While the seats are admittedly quite narrow, the overall experience is enchanting. We encountered minor issues with accessing the surtitles, which are unavailable in the orchestra section, but the attentive and considerate theatre staff graciously assisted us in finding suitable alternative seating. The Lion King is undeniably a memorable spectacle, featuring a uniquely creative and effective staging. The use of puppetry and the inventiveness of the costumes add a layer of poetry to the actors' performances, which are far from hidden-quite the opposite. The set design is ingenious, complemented by clever lighting. The vocal performances, however, are somewhat uneven; at times, the emotional investment feels either forced or nearly absent. Nevertheless, standout performances include Phindile Ndlovu as Rafiki and Olivier Breitman as Scar, who truly shine on stage.

I actually liked the theatre itself. It's still an old building but when Compared against His Majesty and Sondheim in London, Mogador provides slightly more seat space. Moreover, the bathrooms are way better. As to the show itself, I'm not a fan. It doesn't have a lot of singing and looks like a stage play rather than a musical.

We went to watch the play of the lion king, and it was great. The seating area is a little tight. Bathrooms were big with many stalls, there were many confectionery stands and souvenir stands as well. In general, it was a good experience

A fantastic theater in the heart of Paris. As I come more often to the city I've started to explore the local theater scene and this place was just great. Similar to some classic west end theaters in London, has several bars to order drinks and foods, good seats and great acoustics. We came to see Le Roi Lion and the play was just fantastic, I enjoy every minute of this amazing musical/play. The access to the theaters are optimal and there's tons of merchandising to choose from if you want to get a souvenir home. Excellent place to see live theater in Paris

Beautiful theater. Watched the Lion King here and it was a beautiful show. The theatre also provided english subtitles on the 1st balcony. In the theatre there was a good variety of snacks like crepes, hotdogs, sweets, crisps and candy bars available. Also multiple bars for drinks. The theatre is easy to reach with the RER A from the Auber station, just a 3 minute walk away.
