Yesterday, I had the pleasure of watching The Lion King, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. I sat in the balcony and was already aware of the limited space between seats, as I had encountered the same issue during a previous visit to see Beauty and the Beast. However, what I found particularly disappointing was the placement of the surtitles. They were positioned on the sides of the stage, far from the main performance area, making it difficult to follow both the surtitles and the action on stage simultaneously. Every time I turned my head to read them, I missed a part of the performance.
I also wish the production included performances in English at least once a week. Experiencing the play in its original language would undoubtedly add a unique dimension to the experience. While I am eager to watch the play again, I have decided to do so in London, where I can enjoy it without facing the language barrier.
Attending The Lion King musical was an enchanting experience that exceeded all expectations. The performance was nothing short of magical, transporting the audience into the vibrant world of the Pride Lands. The actors delivered phenomenal performances, bringing the beloved characters to life with exceptional skill and energy.
The singing was equally impressive, with each song performed flawlessly. The powerful vocals added a new layer of emotion and excitement to the show, making familiar songs feel fresh and thrilling.
The actors portraying animals were particularly outstanding. Their movements were perfectly executed, capturing the essence of each creature with remarkable precision. It was evident that these roles were challenging, yet they performed them with such grace and expertise that it seemed effortless.
The costumes were truly a spectacle, each one a work of art that added to the rich visual tapestry of the show. The intricate designs and vibrant colors made the characters even more captivating. It was a show filled with depth and grandeur, leaving the audience spellbound from start to finish.
Despite its lengthy runtime, the show never felt too long. Instead, it provided a fulfilling experience, ensuring that the audience got their fill of the mesmerizing story and performances. It was an evening well spent, offering a perfect blend of entertainment and artistry.
I attended a performance on June 27th and had a truly wonderful experience.

A fantastic theater in the heart of Paris. As I come more often to the city I've started to explore the local theater scene and this place was just great. Similar to some classic west end theaters in London, has several bars to order drinks and foods, good seats and great acoustics. We came to see Le Roi Lion and the play was just fantastic, I enjoy every minute of this amazing musical/play. The access to the theaters are optimal and there's tons of merchandising to choose from if you want to get a souvenir home. Excellent place to see live theater in Paris
Beautiful theater. Watched the Lion King here and it was a beautiful show. The theatre also provided english subtitles on the 1st balcony. In the theatre there was a good variety of snacks like crepes, hotdogs, sweets, crisps and candy bars available. Also multiple bars for drinks. The theatre is easy to reach with the RER A from the Auber station, just a 3 minute walk away.
