Excellent movie watching experience. It's a treat by itself. Very comfortable seats, d seats could be warmed up individually. The seats are reclinable including the head treat. The sound system was great and had a decent experience of 3D movie

Review: Batman Begins 35mm Screening at Pathé Palace As a fan of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and the nostalgic allure of 35mm film, I attended the special "Séance 35-70 mm" screening of Batman Begins at the recently opened Pathé Palace, hoping for an extraordinary cinematic experience. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a celebration of Nolan's masterpiece turned into a disappointing affair due to several technical and presentation issues. The Positives: Ambiance and Venue: Pathé Palace has a modern and inviting ambiance that sets the stage for an enjoyable outing. The theater design and comfort are excellent, making it a great spot for regular moviegoers. Effort to Showcase 35mm: Hosting a 35mm screening in a Dolby Atmos theater is an ambitious initiative. It's exciting to see efforts being made to bring such classic formats to a modern audience. Alternative Recommendation: If you're seeking the best Dolby Vision and Atmos experience in Paris, Pathé Alésia remains a better-equipped and more reliable option for fully enjoying movies in these advanced formats. Ticket Price: At €14 per ticket, the pricing is comparable to other premium screenings in Paris. However, given the disappointing quality of this 35mm screening, the cost feels unjustified. The Disappointments: Projection Quality: The most glaring issue was the film projection itself. The 35mm print was poorly maintained, with noticeable scratches and flickering throughout the screening. Instead of enhancing the experience, the analog format felt distracting and amateurishly presented. Screen Alignment: The projection didn't fit the screen properly, cutting off parts of the frame and detracting from the visual immersion. For a format that demands precision to showcase its richness, this oversight was inexcusable. Sound Issues: The audio was a major letdown. Certain scenes, particularly action-heavy moments like gunshots, were unbearably harsh and distorted. This is surprising given the Dolby Atmos setup of the theater, which should have provided clear, dynamic sound. Lack of Optimization for 35mm: The Pathé Palace appears to have prioritized showcasing the novelty of 35mm without fully investing in the equipment or expertise necessary for a proper presentation. This theater, while modern and technically advanced for digital formats, is not optimized for analog film projection. Overall Impression: This screening had all the makings of a great experience: a brilliant movie, a special film format, and a newly opened theater. But the execution fell far short, leaving me disappointed. While I applaud the initiative to bring 35mm screenings to modern audiences, such efforts demand care and expertise to truly honor the legacy of analog film and the movies screened in it. Recommendation: Until Pathé Palace improves their handling of these special screenings, I would recommend skipping their 35mm events. For an unparalleled Dolby Vision and Atmos experience, Pathé Alésia remains a superior choice within Paris. As for Nolan's Batman Begins, it deserves to be seen in its full glory-either on a well-calibrated home setup or in a theater with proven expertise in 35mm projection.

An art decó palace refurbished and restored! This cinema is inside an amazing building, so beautiful! I got inside by chance and didn't have the chance to watch a movie but in the lobby is possible to see the quality of the screens, as there is a giant screen performing the previews. I checked the prices and thought they were expensive. I went up for a drink at the bar. It was a beautiful journey to the past. It's impressive to see how all the art decó decorations were renovated. I fell in love with the stairs and the bar in the upper floors. I sat down beside the balcony and had a Gin&Tonic with something to "grignoter" which means something to nibble. It was perfect. Nice Parisian view, great drink and a delicious terrine de campagne with bread in a beautiful setting. The staff was very friendly and polite.

The chairs were comfortable but otherwise EVERYTHING was out of order, the vending machines, etc. we had to go down to the basement (using elevators was not allowed) every time to get anything we needed. For 25 euro... I expect things to be functioning.

I had a great time here! Staff was extremely helpful -they guided me and explained where my salle was. One lovely girl even explained in English! I felt very welcomed🤗. Additionally, there were plenty of seating areas to wait for your séance. Once inside, the seats were pretty comfy! The screen and quality were great. Watching a movie here is worth every cent.
