Musée Zadkine
100 Rue d'Assas, Paris, France

Book the Zadkine Museum, the intimate and poetic atmosphere of a sculptor's studio near the Jardin du Luxembourg
An incredible workshop-museum
The spirit of the great master of cubist sculpture still breathes over 100 rue d'Assas. It must be said that the museum dedicated to him today is established in the very house where Ossip Zadkine created, from 1928 to 1967, some of his most famous works.
A place of life and creation, a moving symbol of the Montparnasse of artists, the Zadkine Museum is also a true refuge in the heart of the city, as the art critic Pierre Courthion noted in 1929: " You enter through a small door that opens onto the green. One pushes a door that chimes. An old-fashioned dovecote adorns a garden that smells of salad. A little grass, a well and, at the bottom, the large thatched cottage with one floor with heaps of objects which one guesses through the panes. Paris lies behind a large wall covered with ivy. An hour weeps somewhere from a church. All is forgotten. One wants to put on the clogs and wait for the sun to rise in the lime tree (...) Then one is caught in the world of materials and volumes.
From his refuge, his wife Valentine made a donation to the city of Paris in 1978 in order to keep Zadkine's work alive. It is noteworthy that the visually impaired and blind are allowed to touch the works to experience art, as the artist himself wanted. The presentation of his collections, conceived around the question of the material, makes dialogue between plaster, earth, wood and stone.
An island of serenity for your most confidential BtoB meetings
A stone's throw from the Luxembourg Gardens, the Zadkine Museum is a unique haven of peace and memory.
Renovated on the occasion of its 30th anniversary to reflect the spirit of the studio, of which it is one of the last venues to bear witness, it is one of the most privileged places for your professional events in complete intimacy.
Transport your guests into Zadkine's dream of greenery during your business cocktail in the garden. And offer them the unique moment of a private tour of the museum's incredible collections. The ideal place to share rare emotions.
