Receive your guests in the intimate setting of a former fashion house
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris exhibits the work of the designer in the historic location of his former fashion house, through a retrospective tour and thematic temporary exhibitions presented successively. It occupies the historicPrivate Mansion of 5 avenue Marceau where Yves Saint Laurent's creations were born for nearly 30 years, from 1974 to 2002.
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris gives an account of the designer's creative genius as well as the process of creating haute couture collections. It is also a witness to the history of the twentieth century and of haute couture, which accompanied a certain art of living that has now disappeared.
The scenographer Nathalie Crinière and the decorator Jacques Grange, who have both collaborated on numerous projects for the Foundation, have redesigned its exhibition spaces in the original atmosphere of the haute couture house.
When it opened, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris was the first museum of this magnitude, dedicated to the work of one of the greatest couturiers of the 20th century, to open in the fashion capital.
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris offers a range of privatizations (breakfasts, lunches, tea-times, dinners and cocktails) giving access to its salons and exhibitions.
