Receive your guests in the intimate setting of a former fashion house

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris exhibits the work of the designer in the historic location of his former fashion house, through a retrospective tour and thematic temporary exhibitions presented successively. It occupies the historicPrivate Mansion of 5 avenue Marceau where Yves Saint Laurent's creations were born for nearly 30 years, from 1974 to 2002.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris gives an account of the designer's creative genius as well as the process of creating haute couture collections. It is also a witness to the history of the twentieth century and of haute couture, which accompanied a certain art of living that has now disappeared.

The scenographer Nathalie Crinière and the decorator Jacques Grange, who have both collaborated on numerous projects for the Foundation, have redesigned its exhibition spaces in the original atmosphere of the haute couture house.

When it opened, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris was the first museum of this magnitude, dedicated to the work of one of the greatest couturiers of the 20th century, to open in the fashion capital.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris offers a range of privatizations (breakfasts, lunches, tea-times, dinners and cocktails) giving access to its salons and exhibitions.

A bit expensive for 10€. Just a few clothes then some photos. A small room full of ppl for 9 min video (i couldnt wait). Nothing special. Better go to Dior gallery. Oh and dont forget to reserve ticket ol to not waste time waiting in line.

An amazing insight into the fashion icon and well worth the visit! Im not massively into fashion (my wife and daughters are) and so went in as a "passenger" with an open mind and actually loved it! Soo many interesting stories captured here, and a real view into his life and art form. I'd go back again next time I was in Paris.

One of the prettiest museums in Paris. Not too big, not too small, it offers a great insight into the history of the brand. Moreover, they do temporary exhibitions to showcase more of the pieces. Right now, they have "The Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent", a stunning collection that should definitely be checked out! I recommend buying tickets online to avoid any potential queues.

The only fashion museum I wanted to see before coming to Paris. He was the first designer to have a ready-to-wear collection. My first perfume I can remember was Rive Gouache and that fragrance is still prevalent today. He was a true iconoclast. His designs are as fresh and vibrant today, as they were in the 70, 90 and 90s. He was about making woman fell feminine and powerful in their own right. This museum presents the space that his creative genius was prevalent. This is a bit off th e beaten path bur well enough the walk down the river walk to get there.

I had a great time! I had seen an exhibit that came through the USA seven years ago and they had a lot more of his designs on display. I was hoping to see a lot more here but they can't show everything! I went during the flower exhibit and it was nice! It was a cool experience seeing his work space and all. I would go again for another exhibit. ** buy tickets in advance!**
