Situated in the grounds of the famous Château of Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle is a unique hotel overlooking the Orangerie, the Pièce d'Eau des Suisses and Château. Housed in a magnificent building, it was constructed by Louis XIV's favorite architect, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, in 1681.
Two centuries later, the property has been meticulously restored by architect and decorator Christophe Tollemer.
Visitors can enjoy exclusive access to the enchanting world of Versailles, exploring the gardens, the halls of château and the apartments as they were visited by Europe's elite in previous centuries.

Le Grand Contrôle is home to 13 royal rooms and suites for up to 30 guests, including a 120 m² signature suite, exceptional cuisine starred by Alain Ducasse and a restorative Valmont spa with a 15-meter indoor pool.

The Maison also has extensive outdoor facilities for larger groups, including :

Two large terraces on either side of the restaurant
Direct, private access to the gardens of the Orangerie and the Parc du Château

Hotel is beyond amazing everything is on a perfect level. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with full minibar that's included. In this hotel you really feel that you are king or s queen. All employees are soo kind, professional and always willing to help. On every step you feel luxurious and abundance. I would say that this is really one of the best hotels that I ever been in and only their hotel in Saint Tropez can measure with this one. My whole experience was amazing and I can't wait to come back there.

The hotel is simply amazing. If you want to have the true French experience in Versailles, you have to go there. The service is amazing and you truly feel like living in the Louis XIV time. The view on Versailles is amazing. The restaurants are truly beautiful. It's a place you can't miss!

In terms of unique hotel experiences, Airelles Château de Versailles is a one of a kind place. As a part of the royal palace compex, you enjoy the amazing park, the private palace tours, your private golf cart to move around, a picnic along the river. And during the summer months one of the most beautiful fireworks in Paris.

Wow. I must begin by admitting I was a bit nervous booking this hotel. I've stayed at fine hotels across the globe, and I've often noticed a trend where hotels in extra special locations tend to try less and have lack luster service because they know they have no competition. This hotel has no competition in a completely different way. The best way. Let me start by saying, do not even hesitate, book this hotel. It is a peak experience in life in and of itself. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty... truly. It's what this hotel is all about. They went "all in" on the Versailles theme and try to make your stay as authentic as possible. No detail was spared. I have stayed in similarly priced hotels, very few compare. Every last minute detail has been painstakingly considered and flawlessly executed. I am truly blown away. Thank you so so much to all of the staff here- you made our anniversary trip so special, one we will never forget!!!!

Arielle's at Versailles exceeded all expectations! The private tour of the palace was incredible-getting to explore such a historic site in an intimate setting felt so special. The staff was attentive and made sure every detail of our visit was perfect. The experience was worth every penny for the memories alone! Taking a golf cart through the stunning gardens was a highlight, and the after-hours access to the pool was such a luxurious touch. Special shoutout to Hugo, our butler, who was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive throughout our stay. I can't recommend this experience enough-it's truly unforgettable!
