Book the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in the heart of the Louvre, culture and Paris

In the heart of Paris, in the Louvre Palace, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD) offers one of the richest collections of decorative arts in the world and, through its permanent collections, a discovery of the history of furniture, the art of living and interior decoration. One of the most beautiful collections of jewelry in Europe is on display, and the numerous temporary exhibitions presented in the Nave, the fashion galleries, the Rivoli and Tuileries galleries, and the advertising gallery have become a must-see event. The prestige of venues and the diversity of the program will contribute to the success of the events organized in the magnificent spaces of the MAD.

The Nave

Rare and prestigious, dominated by an 18-meter high vault, this space is the true heart of the institution. The galleries that border the central space offer two openings, one towards the rue de Rivoli and the other towards the Tuileries gardens. On either side, the three floors of galleries housing the permanent collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs are displayed behind bay windows. Its sculpted stone decoration, its spectacular mosaic floor decorated with large floral scrolls as well as the beauty of its volumes make the Nave a privileged place to host private events.

The Wooden Room - Pavillon de Marsan

This grand salon is decorated with a magnificent assemblage of 17th and 18th century woodwork from Parisian mansions and castles. Its three large bay windows open the perspective on the Tuileries garden.

The Salon 1900 - Pavillon de Marsan

This set of woodwork was made by Georges Hoentschel for the pavilion of the Central Union of Decorative Arts at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. It is one of the jewels of Art Nouveau.

Rohan Hall

The main entrance to the institution, in the heart of the museum, this space on three levels gives direct access to the exhibitions and the Jewelry Gallery. The theatrical distribution of the monumental staircase opening onto an elegant atrium allows the installation of decorations and buffets on the corridors. This space is ideal for cocktails and breakfasts accompanied by a private tour.

The Hall des Maréchaux

With its independent entrance at 103 rue de Rivoli, the Hall des Maréchaux opens onto three levels with different atmospheres.

  • On the first floor, a vaulted through hall (90m2, 8 m high ceiling) is bathed in light.
  • On thefirst floor (95m2), a columned room with a black and white marble floor is illuminated by a large bay window opening onto the Carrousel gardens. The monumental wrought iron staircase, which leads to the upper floor, structures and distributes the whole.
  • On thesecond floor, a room (65m2) has a more modern decor with white walls equipped with picture rails. This space is easy to customize and can be used for product launches, meetings, press conferences, fashion presentations and showrooms.

The conference room

Located on level -1 of the Pavillon de Marsan, this auditorium is of great architectural quality with its walls and ceiling covered with metal mesh and its comfortable red leather chairs equipped with shelves and can accommodate conferences, symposiums, meetings, boards of directors. It also includes 4 wheelchair spaces, a stage area with screen, video projector and microphones. An adjoining room can be used for breakfast receptions for 50 to 60 people. The auditorium can be rented in conjunction with a visit to the museum, a cocktail party or a dinner in the salons of the Pavillon de Marsan located just above.
