Before writing this review I just want to point out that I sent several emails to the hotel without getting any reply from them.
I was really looking forward to having breakfast at Le Meurice, but the experience was honestly quite disappointing. I had a reservation for two on March 1st expecting great service and a special atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service felt rushed and disorganised. A few items from the breakfast menu never arrived, and I had to ask multiple times. When I mentioned that the drinks seemed different from what I had ordered, the staff brushed it off and insisted it was correct, without properly double-checking. While ordering, waiters were also commenting loudly that I don't speak French and were playing quite arrogantly
For a hotel with such a reputation, this was surprising and honestly frustrating. I left feeling disappointed, not at all what I had hoped for from a place like this. In Paris it's plenty of better hotels to have breakfast in terms of service and food.
The 24th Mars, this morning around 9:15, my experience with the reception-located right across from the main revolving door-fell short of the refined Parisian courtesy expected from a luxury hotel. Having worked with VIP clientele for many years, I believe that customer service must be impeccable, which unfortunately was not the case with my client today. We were merely passing through the neighborhood, and I had intended to show her not only the murals and the beautiful interior architecture of your hotel but also to highlight that, apart from these features, the overall atmosphere-although very unique-was decidedly positive.
I sincerely hope that this message will be taken into consideration and lead to a favorable resolution.

The hotel itself is stunning, the location is perfect, close to everything. The spa is ideal-complete relaxation, facial treatments are amazing, and the ladies working there are professional and very kind. I felt relaxed, and my skin looks so much better. The room was beautiful, the bed huge and very comfortable. The restaurant was perfect; the food was top-notch-the steak was the best I've ever had. The service in the restaurant was outstanding, and there was a wide selection of wines. The bar was excellent.
However, there are a few things I could complain about: in such an expensive and luxurious hotel, I had to ask twice for water during breakfast, and the same happened with juice the next day. They also forgot to bring an iron to the room, and I had to ask for it a second time. Additionally, the minibar should be included in the room price-sparkling water and chocolates were charged extra. Considering how expensive the room is, these items should be complimentary for guests.
This review is solely for the restaurant portion of the hotel. The breakfast here came highly recommended and I now know why. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Our server was incredible and so accommodating. The food was just amazing - I think I will dream of the scrambled eggs until I get back there again. Absolute perfection in every way. I really can't say enough good things. Beautiful setting, beautiful presentation of food, and incredible service. We had such a good experience at breakfast we ended our day here as well with dessert and a nightcap before heading back to our hotel. That experience was nothing short of amazing, as well.
