Book the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, one of the best kept secrets of the capital

A case containing a precious treasure

The Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild is a place of art and entertainment that is constantly reinvented.

In 1874, Baroness Adèle de Rothschild began her project ofPrivate Mansion, where the arts would be expressed to the fullest extent, on land already occupied by great names. The desire was clear: to provide a place to live in a sublime setting to house superb works of art. In 1922, the State became the universal legatee of the collections and of the majestic building, a donation in line with the practices of the greatest philanthropic fortunes. However, one wish had to be respected: that the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild should assume its vocation to promote the arts.

A place of rare refinement for your Parisian events

The Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild is a Private Mansion classified as a historical monument with contemporary characteristics of the Haussmann period, which is transformed according to the events to create the most beautiful surprises and the greatest emotions. A succession of majestically styled salons and rare gardens covering more than 4,000m² are designed to provide a unique experience.

Each of the spaces has been perfectly renovated and offers the cachet of a place steeped in history, and features very high quality equipment. The Grand Salon, in particular, provides a stylistic breakthrough and a highly ingenious design to accommodate large-scale customizable projects: optimized acoustics, a modular stage, lighting effects...

One of the best kept secrets of the capital

Within the House, a cabinet of curiosities, created by Baroness Adèle de Rothschild, contains rare objects. A small museum, maintained in its original state.

The exteriors offer a remarkable scale for a lunch on the grass, a garden party or recreational activities in a dream setting. The Jardin aux Biches, which was the last home of Honoré de Balzac, is an invitation to romance. The rear facade reveals a Petit Parc: a beautiful breathing space that opens onto the Foundation Park with its centuries-old trees. If the Foundation Park is open to the public during the day, it closes its doors in the evening. More than half a hectare which can also be privatized.

Out of all the places I have been in Paris in the last few years, this place made my heart sing the most. My friend Theo and I enjoyed a lovely Thursday night at the bar. The crowd was so chic and the DJ was out of this world. The overall ambiance was dreamlike. The history of this place is truly something as well.

I went to the Rothschield hotel to see an exhibition in contributions to the Japonism festival that still take place in Paris. Beautiful to see and the hotel brought a spendid contrast between the modern japanese arts and the architecture and design of the French traditional Parisian style.

Went there for a Japanese exhibition. Beautiful building and lovely garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not far from Place Charles de Gaulle it's easier to reach with buses (line 22) than with metro.
