Book the Cité du Vin to dazzle your guests without moderation

The Cité du Vin is a cultural center of international scope dedicated to wine as a living, universal cultural heritage. Its impressive architecture and spaces make it an emblem of modernity that gives a different view of wine, around the world, through the ages and in all cultures.

Many areas of the Cité du Vin can be privatized: lounges, reception areas, meeting rooms, auditorium and Belvedere are suitable for all types of events (dinner, cocktail party, seminar, meeting...).

The Cité du Vin can accommodate up to 1000 people for seated meals and 1500 people for cocktails on different levels.

  • Ideal for your meetings, congresses, conventions, gala evenings, cocktails, team building and incentives;
  • Possibility to organize team buldings: tasting workshops or guided tours with our team of oenocultural mediators;
  • Possibility of privatizing the Cité du Vin in its entirety for large-scale events.

The Cité du Vin is supported by the Fondation pour la culture et les civilisations du vin, a private foundation recognized as being of public utility, whose mission is to support, promote and transmit the heritage of wine.

A wonderful museum dedicated to everything related to wine. It is an interactive, self guided, tour over how grapes are grown, harvested, made into wine. It has the history of wine and the 5 senses of wine tasting. This is a good place to get a sample of various wines in France and around the world.

A world class museum, brings wine making to life! Sensory exhibits as well as highly informative wine making processes and historical interpretations. Not to be missed, and a decent glass of wine upstairs with a view from the tower included!

Very interesting and informative exposition. It took us around 4h to really see all of it. A lot of information about history of wine, types and how to taste wine. Glass of wine at the top of the tower (with balcony) in the price of the ticket ( if you are planning to see more museums and use the public transport it is good to get Bordeaux Pass).

Very interesting if you're into wine. Talks about cultivation, history, biology, cultural significance. The tasting room was limited but a tasting was included and the views were great. 22 a person and we spent almost four hours there.

Can spend whole day here. We reached around 9:30am and walked around. Out for lunch at the opposite food count ( which is very very good, just cross the road) then back to exhibition again, joined the wine tasting as well. Don't forget to visit the souvenir shop at the ground floor, last get a glass of wine at the root top with amazing view. Good choice of wine list... I really recommend this place and will revisit again.
