The Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne takes you on a unique journey through the heart of the Burgundy vineyards to discover all the special features of this historic cultural heritage, unique in the world.

Our wine culture is something to be experienced and shared. Through fun, multi-sensory experiences, you'll discover the world of wine and vines, the history of each of Bourgogne 's wine-growing regions, and the richness of its landscapes, wines and people.

The Chablis vineyards extend over some twenty communes. This vineyard has been given the lovely name of Portes d'Or de la Bourgogne. There are 47 Climats here, named Vaudésir, Grenouilles, Fourchaume, Montée de Tonnerre... names that resonate with a fabulous history.
Located in the heart of the village, just a stone's throw from the vineyards, the Cité is housed in a historic building dating back to the Middle Ages: the Petit Pontigny cellar, the monastic cradle that shaped winegrowing Bourgogne .
The Greater Auxerrois region is also full of special features, with a varied range of appellations spread across a multitude of ancient vineyards such as Auxerrois, Vézelay and Jovinien. To the east, there are the Tonnerrois and Châtillonais regions. So many witnesses to the richness of northern Bourgogne wines!

For your seminars, team-building events or even meetings, the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne in Chablis is the ideal venue for unique, unifying moments.

Very nice staff! The museum is interactive and has caves for children alongside the adults. We learned a lot!

Really friendly staff keen to pass on their knowledge. We were given a sample of really nice wine, so stayed to sample a few more. We were told a bit about each one, adding to the experience. The whole venue is wheelchair accessible with parking spaces at the door.

Was very quiet when we went. The multimedia exhibits are well done. The cellar room was the favourite. And wine tasting at end was generous and friendly staff
