The château de Rambouillet owes its fame to the rich and game-filled forest in the heart of which it was built. A former medieval fortress, it was gradually transformed into a residence of pleasure and decorated with elegant decorations by its illustrious owners: the Angennes family, the Toulouse-Penthieves, Louis XVI, Napoleon I and the presidents of the French Republic.
Within the Rambouillet estate, its 150 hectares of historical gardens, classified as remarkable gardens, allow numerous possibilities of events. You will find two exceptional monuments that will be able to welcome you in their park: the Dairy of Queen Marie-Antoinette and the Shell House.
