It was built between 1242 and 1248 by Louis IX, the future Saint Louis, to house the most precious of relics: the Crown of Thorns of Christ. A few years were enough to build this masterpiece which never ceases to surprise, seduce and fascinate.

Private Concert at the Sainte Chapelle
The Sainte-Chapelle offers a unique setting for the organization of your private concerts. The acoustics are remarkable, especially for string instruments and voices. Please note that the fragility of the stained glass windows does not allow for strong vibrations and sounds when choosing your program and organizing your concerts.
