The result of a meeting between an erudite patron of the arts, Théodore Reinach, and a talented architect, Emmanuel Pontremoli, and designed between 1902 and 1908, the residence subtly combines antique luxury with the modern comfort of Belle Époque villas.
On the shores of the Mediterranean, this "swallow of the seas", whose encounter is a happy omen in Greek mythology, is an exceptional tribute to ancient Greek civilization.

Exceptionally, the Villa Kérylos can be partially made available for the organization of events. Only certain areas are accessible, outside the public opening hours. Respecting the image of the monument and the will of its founder, the events must be compatible with the reception of the public and guarantee the good conservation of the monument as well as of its collections.
