The Grand-Théâtre de Bordeaux, masterpiece of the architect Victor Louis, was inaugurated on April 7, 1780 under the reign of Louis XVI. A true "Temple of the Arts" of neo-classical inspiration, the building was classified as a historic monument in 1899 and is part of the exceptional urban ensemble listed in 2007 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Home of the National Opera of Bordeaux, the Grand-Théâtre programs operas, ballets, concerts in its majestic auditorium and conferences, shows for young audiences, workshops in its foyers.
In addition to this intense artistic program, the Opéra National de Bordeaux opens its doors to corporate events, conferences, cocktail parties, gala dinners, product presentations, plenary sessions...
