These salons were named after the naturalist Georges-Louis de Buffon, who lived in the Hôtel Le Brun Starting at 1766. He worked next door at the Jardin des Plantes, where he devoted himself to natural history.
Located on the garden level, facing the staircase of the Cour d'Honneur, the Salons du Botaniste consist of three lounges in a row with a total surface of 200 m². They have a private access to the magnificent French garden of 500 m².
The three salons are all in keeping with the main codes of the 18th century: a mineral stone floor with a gray cabochon, high ceilings of more than 4 meters and a luminous and refined decor, embellished with floral motifs in relief and golden suspensions.
Because of its size and its private access to the garden, the Salons du Botaniste is the ideal place to organize unforgettable events during the day or evening. Organize a projection in the large lounge up to 100 people in theater and receive your guests in the small lounges or the garden for a coffee reception or a cocktail.
