In the middle of Paris is a high-end shopping center called Samaritaine. On the top floor is the Voyage restaurant where you can enjoy high quality champagne, cocktails and food. We visit my son in Paris every year from the U.S. and we always seem to find ourselves at this place. This is located by the river and in one of the best districts of Paris. It's a bit pricey but its worth trying - even if you have an appetizer and one drink.

Beautiful location and delicious food. However, prices are very high- I got three scallops for €26. Also, the hostess was unpleasant to deal with but the waiters were lovely.
