This is one of the more beautiful sites that we visited in Bath - the stained glass windows are lovely! It was free to visit the church itself with only a 5 Euro charge each to visit the adjacent cloister. Both are recommended and can be toured in about an hour.

Built in the 13th century the building has great architecture. A small token fee is charged for entry. Inside there is a garden with a path around it. There are display boards describing how the residents lived and what all activities they perform. Many cultural activities are organised within the building. Visit the website for more information. A shop is there selling souveniors.

The cloister is equally enchanting, providing a peaceful retreat where visitors can relax and soak in the ambiance. Sun loungers under the arcades create a perfect spot to unwind while enjoying the surroundings.

I've visited the exhibition "Kathares", which takes place in the convention des Jacobins. I've been amazed by the building and by the exhibition. The temple is mighty and impressive, and the patio is so tranquil. The exhibition was revealing, as I learned bits of history that were unknown to me, and once again confirmed the negative role of official papal authority in the dark years of the Middle Ages. If it happens and you are in Toulouse and history is in your interests, don't miss it.

If you only go to one place in Toulouse, this is they one!!!! The ceilings are amazing!! So much history here. We visited the museum as well. The Bibles in there were well worth the admission fee. Several were from the 13th century. Again, this is a must see.
