One of my favourites. If you're looking for traditional French food at an affordable price - this is the place. Adored by locals and tourists alike. Im always very happy with the food, from entree to dessert. The service is another story. Definitely a little inconsistent. The last time we came we got our entrees served right away and then had to wait around for the main dish and then again for the dessert. But that's not an issue when the staff is lovely and coming to you with a smile. It is a busy place.
Hot tip: You'll likely see longer lines to get in if you count on eating later in the evening. Try to get there in the earlier hours to avoid the lines. Waiting times can vary.
After a whole morning discovering the Palace of Versailles we were quite hungry, I came to this restaurant a few years back and remembered that we had a great lunch and so after managing to find it (it is so close to the palace ) we sat down for lunch.
Surprisingly it is mainly full with local people, which for me is a good sign of the restaurant's quality.
The food here is excellent, you can find the greatest French classics packed with amazing flavours, great service from our amazing waiter Jonathan and great prices.
The desserts are super delicious.
